so variable that it is difficult to generalize the cleaning methods.

or completely replace a lining, depending upon the customer's
preference. Almost always, the cleaner will carefully hand-clean
clean the lining as a separate process from cleaning the leather
itself to prevent damaging moisture from reaching the leather
outer shell.
